Michelle is our Link Trustee for Child Protection & Safeguarding, and ensures the Trust Board and School meet their responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, according to the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).  As a Link Trustee in this role, Michelle also ensures the Trust Board complies with its duties outlined in part 2 of KCSIE, and makes sure that policies and procedures at Humberston Park School are effective and comply with relevant legislation.

Sara is our Link Trustee for Professional Practice and monitors the curriculum, including pupils’ careers guidance and transitions, and pupil assessments.  She also monitors the effectiveness of our stakeholder engagement, and ensures that leadership are providing appropriate opportunities for staff to research key areas of SEND practice relevant to the needs of pupils at Humberston Park School, to ensure sustainable provision that is always innovating and creative, to provide the best quality of pupil experience.

Eleanor is our Link Trustee for Transdisciplinarity and Learning, and she ensures that our ‘provision’ moves beyond just teaching and instruction across disciplines such as education, health, therapies and care.  In her role, Eleanor monitors the provision provided by the School to ensure there is collaboration between education staff, health and therapy professionals and those involved with care, to create a cohesive and personalised learning experience for all pupils.
