Internet safety, online games and exposure to media which might be harmful

We would like to bring to your attention to the links below that will help you to keep your child safe if they are accessing the Internet, social media, online gaming or TV streaming.

The levels of potentially harmful exposure young people can experience has likely escalated due to the increase in media platforms and greater access to technology.  This is often affecting children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing but can also lead to manipulation and exploitation.

We know that monitoring and regulating children and young people’s activities in this respect is becoming increasingly difficult for you as parents/carers.

Pupils at Humberston Park School are extremely vulnerable and this means that even more care and attention needs to be exercised.
